Get to know your University in detail on 3 and 4 October! Get relevant information and the most important tips for your life as a student, find out more about the offers and services available to you and participate in useful workshops on topics such as burnout prevention.

Open-air concerts and community

Are you new to studying at the University of Vienna and trying to get in touch with fellow students? Be it sports, writing or music – visit the Community Corner in the Arcaded Courtyard or go to community.univie.ac.at to find out about various offers in which you can participate.

As a special offer, two open-air concerts take place on 8 and 9 October directly at your University, featuring the music of John Williams, i.e. music from Harry Potter, Star Wars and co – performed by the one and only Vienna University Philharmonic. The concerts start at 15:00 in the Arcaded Courtyard. Please register for the concert in advance (you will find the link in the newsletter).

Discover the University!

Unfamiliar university? Join one of the guided tours of the Main Building to learn more about the history of your University and hear interesting anecdotes from 657 years of University of Vienna.

Participate in a free guided tour of the Main Building:

  • Wednesday, 5 October (10:00 and 14:00) 
  • Thursday, 6 October (14:00)
  • Friday, 7 October (11:00 and 13:00) 

The guided tours are already fully booked. Registration is no longer possible.
